A Perfect Romantic Getaway
What an amazing two-night stay! The views from our room were breathtaking, and the cozy ambiance made it a romantic escape. A highlight was discovering the local produce at breakfast—can’t get enough of that fresh jam! Just a suggestion, a decaf option for tea/coffee would be lovely.

A hidden gem, ideal for couples
Had a lovely time here. The breakfast was out of this world, everything cooked to perfection and served by Steve with a smile that made ya feel welcome. And exploring the local pubs just across the road after dinner was like icing on the cake.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but still perfectly fine for what we got.

I was charmed by the tasteful decor and spacious layout, which made moving around enjoyable and accessible. The warm welcome from Fiona and Steve felt like visiting old friends rather than just staying at a B&B.
A few more grab bars in the bathroom.

I stayed in the Double Room with Private Bathroom for three nights. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The comfortable bed made sleeping easy. The en-suite included both a bath and shower with eco-friendly toiletries. A kettle was provided, stocked with quality tea and ground coffee. Biscuits. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with a great variety of hot food cooked to order and fresh local produce. I particularly enjoyed the yogurt, fruit, and cereal options. The guest lounge featured a record player and a great selection of vinyl, perfect for relaxing. Steve and Fiona made me feel incredibly welcome right from the start. a few more grab bars in the bathroom would enhance safety for all guests.

Spacious layout provides room to move. Tasteful decor adds a cozy touch, making the place feel inviting.
had to stick to a specific time that felt too rigid. Parking is a hassle, requiring a 50-meter trek to get to your car, which can be a bit inconvenient. Surprisingly, someone entered our room during the day when we didn’t request it, yet they didn’t clean up at all. Finding a bed bug on the last night topped the experience off poorly, especially with bites to deal with afterward.

The welcoming atmosphere created by Steve and Fiona was very nice. The room was comfortable and clean with tasteful decor. While the rain dampened outdoor plans, breakfast was beautifully cooked and plentiful. It’s a shame dedicated parking wasn’t available, though we managed fine.

Ordering breakfast the day before adds a bit of pressure when I’m not sure what I want until the morning rolls around. it’s a bit of a gamble for my taste buds. The bed, while cozy enough for my partner, left me tossing and turning, making for an uncomfortable sleep. Some extras like decaf tea or coffee in the room would be a nice touch, not to mention two bottles of water for those longer stays since I tend to drink quite a bit.
